Description
This is a milepost located on the roadside in Coxley, dating from the early 19th century. It is made of cast iron and has a V-shaped design with a canted top. The milepost features raised lettering indicating distances: "BWATER 18; WELLS 2 MILES; GLASTON 4 MILES". It is part of the Wells Turnpike Trust.
