Description

This is a milepost located on the east side of the B3139 in Emborough, dating from the early 19th century. It is made of cast iron and has a V-shaped design with a canted top. The raised lettering indicates the distances to Bath (16 miles) and Wells (4 miles). This milepost is part of the Wells Turnpike Trust.
