Description
Redhill Farmhouse, dating from the 17th century, is a farmhouse with an attached barn to the right. The building features rough plastering and has both tile and slate roofs, with 19th-century brick stacks at the ends. It has a cross passage plan and stands two storeys tall with four bays. The windows are made of moulded stone mullions, with two and three lights, and iron casements for each light; some of the windows have quadrants. On the ground floor to the right, there is a stopped label, while to the left, there is a continuous hood mould. The farmhouse has a gabled central porch with a 20th-century glazed inner door. The barn, which is of lower height, has a double-Roman and pantiled roof. Inside, there are two winder staircases, a blocked bread oven, and moulded architraves on the first-floor doorways.
