Description

This is an unknown chest tomb located 20 metres north-north-east of the chancel at the Church of St Christopher. It dates from the late 18th century and is made of dressed stone. The tomb features a moulded plinth, an oblong chest, fluted corner pilasters, and a central pilaster on the north and south sides. It has a flat entablature and a slab top that is moulded around its lower edge. The inscriptions on the tomb are decayed, and it was noted to be much overgrown with ivy during a resurvey in February 1984.
