Description
Doble’s Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse. It has a rendered exterior, coped gables, and a slate roof. A brick stack is visible externally to the left. The farmhouse is arranged with a 1:3:2 bay layout. The first floor has three-light casement windows, three of which are 20th century replacements, with relieving arches above; a small leaded light window is located to the left. The ground floor features glazing bar casements with wooden aprons, and a wrought iron trellis porch with a lean-to roof contains a 20th-century glazed door. A single-storey, one-bay extension is attached to the left. A two-light square-headed mullion window is present in the gable end of the left return elevation. An outshut is situated at the rear.
