Description

The Old Manor House is a house, now divided, dating from the 17th century, with additions from the late 18th and early 19th centuries. The building’s East elevation presents a late 18th-century facade, with the original structure extending to the North and a South extension fronting the road. The East elevation is rendered with a hipped tiled roof featuring overhanging eaves and soffit boards, and brick stacks. It has two storeys and three bays, with sash windows containing glazing bars and a central six-panel door, partially glazed, with a leaded fanlight above it. The right return elevation, which fronts the road, is similar in style to the facade, also with overhanging eaves. It includes three-light casement windows flanked by two-lights, all with glazing bars, set beneath rusticated voussoirs. There are blocked first and second-floor windows to the left, a garage opening on the ground floor to the centre, and blocked windows on the ground floor to the right. The interior was not inspected.
