Description
This is an early 18th century chest tomb located in the churchyard, three metres east of the east end of the Church of St. Philip and St. James. It is made of Doulting stone and features a moulded plinth. The tomb has six panels with raised ogee-shaped shields and pilasters that are carved with floral decorations. At the end panels, there are winged cherubs. The tomb is topped with a cornice mould, which includes cyma recta and torus moulded flat top.
