Description
This is an early 18th-century chest tomb located in the churchyard, 4 metres northeast of the east end of the Church of St. Philip and St. James. It is made of Doulting stone and features a moulded plinth. The tomb has four-panel side panels with corner balusters, which include plain, bead-moulded ovals. It is topped with a moulded cornice and a roughly hewn square-edged slab, which is likely a replacement for an earlier top.
