Description
This is a chest tomb from the mid-18th century located in the churchyard, 10 metres northwest of the northwest corner of the Church of St. Philip and St. James. It is made of Doulting stone and features a moulded plinth with a four-panel design that includes egg and tongue moulding around fielded ovals. The corners are adorned with winged cherubs, and the side panels are flanked by fielded urns. There are corner balusters and bead-moulded ovals on the end panels. The top of the tomb has a moulded and fluted cornice with a torus edge.
