Description
Knuston Lodge is a detached house located on Church Street, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed from near-ashlar Ham stone, with coursed rubble on the sides, and features a plain clay tiled roof with stone slate base courses between steeply coped gables. The building has brick chimney stacks at each end and stands two storeys high with three bays. It has sash windows with 16 panes, set within architraves, and a central six-panel part-glazed door situated in a recess, also with a matching architrave. There is a single-storey extension on the south gable, topped with a Welsh slate roof, which includes panelled steel garage doors and a simple casement window under a timber lintel. The interior has not been seen.
