Description
The building is a former coachhouse that has been converted into a doctor's surgery, located on Church Street. It likely dates from the 17th century but has been modified in the 20th century. The structure is made of ham stone with an ashlar facade and coursed rubble on the sides, topped with a hipped Welsh slate roof. It is a single-storey building with three bays. The outer bays feature 20th-century small-pane casement windows, while the center has a three-centred archway filled with a 20th-century door and windows, complete with impost blocks and a keystone. Above this archway is a pedimented false gable with panelling and side sweeps. There is a plain mullioned two-light window on the south wall. At the rear, there is a temporary extension that is not considered of special interest. The interior has not been seen. On the south-east corner, there is a plain three-centred archway that links to the former stables of the Church Lodge, featuring wrought iron gates with scroll decoration, likely from the 20th century.
