Description
Mill House and Attached Mill is an early 19th-century structure built from coursed and squared rubble with freestone dressings, featuring slate roofs and coped verges with brick stacks. The building has a three-unit frontage that includes one, two, and three storeys, arranged in a 1:2:3 bay configuration. The mill house is located on the right side and has 12-pane sash windows with plain surrounds, along with a central door opening that features a six-panelled door. The mill is on the left side and includes cambered-head iron casements, a plank door set in a freestone surround, and a segmental-headed carriage opening. Inside the mill house, there are early 19th-century features such as the staircase and chimneypieces. The interior of the mill contains machinery, including hoppers and stones, although the mill wheel is missing.
