Description

The archway to the springhead, located on North Street in Crewkerne, dates from the 18th to early 19th century. It is constructed from Ham Hill stone ashlar and features iron bars. The design includes a semi-circular arch with reeded arris and three horizontal iron bars in the lower half, which frames a recess that contains a spring.
