Cottage. C16, C17, C19 external alteration. Coursed and squared rubble, thatch, 2 brick ridge stacks. Open hall house, subsequently altered to 3- unit and cross-passage; some further C20 partitioning. Single storey and attic; garden front of 1:1 bays, 2 and 3-light casements, those to ground floor under wooden lintols, those to first floor in gabled dormers with thatch cresting. Door with glazed panel between the bay sets, wooden lintol. Interior with exposed ceiling beams; fireplace in a dressed stone surround with moulded jambs and lintol backing onto cross-passage ornamental plasterwork to first floor, 3 fleur-de-lis and date:- "BTR 1712", elaborate plaster frieze and cornice.
