Description

Church Farmhouse, dating to the Early 19th century, may incorporate earlier fabric. It is constructed of coursed and squared rubble with coped verges and end brick stacks, and has a pantile roof. The symmetrical main frontage features two storeys and three bays, with 12-pane sash windows on the first floor and 16-pane sash windows on the ground floor. A central door opening is accessed by a six-panelled door, with the top two panels glazed. A four-bay wing extends at right angles to the rear, and is of lower height. This rear wing is significant due to its proximity to the churchyard of Church of St Mary, where it serves as a backdrop to the church. The rear elevation features casement windows with glazing bars.
