Lodge to Tetton House (qv). 1924-6, By H S Goodhart-Rendell for H M Herbert. Rendered over rubble, pyramid slate roof, overhanging eaves, central stack. Octagonal in plan with one projecting square bay overlooking road. Classical style, Two storeys, recessed full height semicircualr headed bay on all fronts, cut by string course band plinth, segmental headed sash windows first floor, 12-pane sash windows ground floor, panelled door with side-lights and rectangular-light above on South front, East front square piers with ball finials flanking square bay with tripartite 12-pane sash windows, lit on returns, parapet swept down to ball finials. A brief classical prelude by Goodhart-Rendell to his full orchestral work at Tetton House.
