Description

The former tithe barn, located 25 metres north-west of Aller Court Farmhouse, is likely from the 15th century. It is constructed from local lias stone that has been cut and squared, and features a double Roman clay tile roof with stepped coped gables. The north gable has modern timber doors, and the barn is surrounded by other farm buildings, some of which have lean-tos. Inside, there is an arched braced collar truss roof with windbraces, while the north bay has been restored in the 20th century. This barn is part of the Aller Manor estate.
