Manor Farmhouse And Barn Attached To North

Manor Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse dating from the 18th century, located on Church Street. It is constructed from ham stone ashlar with a Welsh slate roof over stone slate base courses and features ashlar stone chimney stacks. The building has an 'L'-shaped plan and consists of a single storey with attics, while the attached barn to the north is also single storey and has three bays. The farmhouse has a rubble plinth and a band course, with cruciform lower windows set in beaded architraves; the toplights have small-pane infills and the bottom lights are plain. In the second bay, there is a wide boarded door in a beaded architrave, topped by a 4-pane fanlight. The interior has not been seen. The barn, which projects from the north-east corner, shares the same roofline as the farmhouse and features a central semi-circular moulded archway with a keystone and imposts, along with pairs of ventilation slits on each side. The barn is an integral part of the farmhouse's design and relates to the nearby Manor House.
