Description

Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1836, featuring ashlar walls and a hipped slate roof, with rendered and brick stacks at each end. The building is symmetrical and has a projecting two-storey porch at the center. It stands two storeys high and has five bays. The central bay has stone mullioned windows with returned labels, while the outer bays contain 12-pane sash windows. There is a 20th-century part-glazed door. To the left and right are single-storey service wings. The rear facade also has five bays with stone mullioned windows that include wooden sashes. Additionally, there is a contemporary ashlar wall that ramps up to gate piers topped with ogee caps and ridged coping. This farmhouse is part of a large, relatively intact group of farm buildings from the same period.
