Description
Fernbrooke Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in 1848. It is constructed of brick in Flemish bond with ashlar dressings and features tiled roofs with end ashlar stacks and stone copings. The building is designed in a 'Tudor' style and has a symmetrical main range that is two storeys high with attics and consists of three bays. It includes two and three-light stone mullioned windows and a plank door. To the north, there is an integral gatehouse wing that serves as an entrance to the farmyard. This wing is one and a half storeys tall and has a central four-centred archway, set on a greensand plinth. Some openings have been altered.
