Description

This outbuilding, located about 10 metres north-east of The Keepers, is a garden house that may have originally been a residence. It dates from the 17th or 18th century and is constructed of Ham stone rubble with thatched roofs featuring half-hips and no chimney stack. The building has an 'L' shape and consists of both single and two-storey sections. The south elevation includes a three-light timber chamfer-mullioned casement window on the first floor, with a door and a single casement window below. There is a single-storey extension to the west that has a lean-to with a double Roman clay tiled roof adjoining the main thatched wing. The remainder of the building and its interior are not accessible. This outbuilding has significant group value with The Keepers.
