Description
This is an outbuilding located approximately 5 meters south-southeast of Old Manor, originally serving as a kitchen and accommodation for servants. It dates from the 17th century and is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with a gabled stone slate roof and a brick end stack. The building has an L-shaped plan with a front right wing and is one storey high with an attic, featuring a two-window range.
The front has a 20th-century glazed door to the left and a 20th-century casement window to the right of a 17th-century ribbed door, with a stone slate pentice above supported by stone piers. There is a gabled dormer from the 18th century. The front right wing includes a timber lintel over a 19th-century plank door and a flat stone arch leading to a rear yard. Inside, there are stone flag floors and an old workbench on the right.
