Description
This building is a house located on Quay Street in Minehead, dating from the early to mid-18th century. It features painted render over rubblestone and has a thatched roof that connects with the adjacent properties at Nos 29 and 33. The house has a central-entry plan with two units and stands three storeys tall, displaying an almost-symmetrical arrangement of three windows.
The entrance consists of an 18th-century six-panel door, which is glazed at the top and set beneath a hood supported by shaped brackets. Flanking the door are two-storey early to mid-19th century canted bay windows, each with three-light casements and restored hipped roofs. Above the door, there is a small 20th-century window. On the second floor, above the left-hand bay, is a two-light half-dormer window, while to the right of centre at the eaves level is a four-light mullioned window, likely dating from the 17th century. To the far left of the ground floor is a wide 19th-century door, also glazed at the top, featuring two three-pane lights. The interior has not been inspected.
