Description

The gate and gate piers at the driveway entrance to Stockland Manor date from around 1860. They consist of a pair of octagonal dressed stone gate piers, each featuring a foiled niche on the upper part of each face and topped with octopartite caps that have ball finials. The entrance is completed with a simple wooden gate that is fitted with iron strap hinges. These structures are included in the listing mainly for their group value with Stockland Manor.
