Description
Chalcot Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the 17th century and was enlarged in the early 19th century, with alterations made in the mid-20th century. The building features roughcast over random rubble and has a pantiled roof with overhanging eaves supported by sprockets. There are brick stacks at the left and right gable ends. The farmhouse has a three-cell layout with a cross passage and a double pile addition on the south front. The south front is two storeys high and has three bays, with 16-pane sash windows and a central doorway that includes a partially glazed panelled door and a pentice hood supported by brackets. The interior has been extensively altered, but the farmhouse is primarily listed for its early 19th-century facade.
