Description

Zine Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse that was altered in the 18th century and the early 20th century. It is constructed of rubble, rendered and has a double Roman tiled roof with coped verges on the left side. Brick stacks are located at the gable ends and to the left of the cross passage. The original plan consisted of three rooms arranged around a cross passage, with a full-height gabled single bay addition at one end and a single bay to the right. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has a 3:1 bay arrangement. It features 16-pane sash windows, and 20th-century windows in the gabled addition. The central-right entrance is accessed via a tiled and gabled 20th-century porch with a glazed door. The interior was not viewed, but is considered likely to be of interest.
