Description
The former Bible Christian Schoolroom is a 19th-century Sunday School room that incorporates some 17th-century fabric. It is constructed from local lias stone that has been cut and squared, with Ham stone dressings. The building features a double Roman clay tile roof, with the west gable topped by a gabletted finial and a brick chimney stack. It is a single-storey structure with two bays. The north elevation includes two casement windows beneath stone lintels, along with a boarded door to the left that is topped by a rectangular fanlight inscribed "The Salvation Army Young Peoples' Hall." On the west gable, there are two three-light hollow chamfered mullioned windows, although the lower window is now blocked. The interior has not been seen. The building is linked on the south side to Hillhaven.
