Description

The lock-up, previously known as The Round House, is an 18th-century structure located on Thorney Road in Kingsbury Episcopi. It is octagonal in shape and constructed from coursed and squared rubble, topped with a segmental stone roof and a ball finial. The building features a narrow door opening framed with a chamfered edge, leading to a studded plank door secured with strap hinges. Additionally, there are two very narrow barred windows.
