Description
West End Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries. It is constructed of rubble, with some sections colourwashed and others in ashlar. The roofs are thatched and covered with double-Roman tiles, featuring two coped verges and brick stacks. The building has an L-plan layout and is a single storey with an attic, comprising three bays.
On the garden front, the first floor has two front-facing gables, each with two-light stone-mullioned windows that have labels and copings to the verges. There is also a three-light casement window beneath a bonnet hood. The ground floor features two two-light stone-mullioned windows with labels, along with a three-light casement window under a wooden lintel. To the left, there is a door opening with a plank door.
The rear elevation, which faces the roadside, includes two and three-light casements and two door openings, both with plank doors.
