Description

Penny Cottage is a late 18th-century cottage located on the south side of Church Street in Kingsbury Episcopi. The building is constructed of colourwashed brick and rubble, with a thatched roof featuring a coped verge and two brick stacks. It has two storeys and three bays, with three-light casement windows beneath wooden lintols, except for a two-light casement on the first floor to the right. A plank door is set within an opening to the right, also beneath a wooden lintol. Of particular interest is the ceiling inside.
