Description
The Pocock family chest tomb, located in the churchyard about 12 meters south of the transept of the Church of St Peter and St Paul, dates from the late 18th to early 19th century. It is constructed from ham stone and features a ledger top, a moulded cornice, and a plinth. The tomb has raised and fielded panels, with pilasters on the north and south sides that are divided horizontally into three panels. The north side bears an illegible inscription, while the south side is inscribed to a member of the Pocock family who died in 1830.
