Description

The Retreat is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of rubble with a hipped slate roof and features tall brick stacks. The building has two storeys and four bays, with twelve-pane sash windows that have painted emphasized surrounds. The door is located in the second bay and is accessed through an altered hipped roof porch, which has a three-quarter glazed door set within a stone architrave.
