Pair of gates between gate piers and attached wall. 1895, Walter Brierley, for Mr. J. Shaw. Coursed limestone wall; ashlar limestone gate piers; wrought iron gates. Gate piers: square on plan. Approximately 3 metres high on low plinth with shaped, recessed panelled sides, moulded cornice, and ball finial. 30cm wall on either side attached to gate piers by battered buttresses with gabled tops. Wall to left incorporates a stile of cantilevered steps. Tall gates in Victorian Gothic pattern.
