Description
This is a house that has been converted into a dental surgery, dating from the early 19th century, with some late 19th-century window features. It is constructed of pink and cream mottled brick in an English garden-wall bond, sitting on a stone plinth. The building has a painted stone doorcase and a flat timber eaves cornice, with brick stacks rising from a slate hipped roof.
The front of the building is two stories high and has three windows. The front door consists of six raised-and-fielded panels and features an overlight, set within a quoined doorcase that has a triple keyblock. The windows on the left side of both floors are blocked, while the remaining windows are single-pane sashes with painted stone sills. The ground-floor windows have brick cambered arches, and the first-floor windows have painted timber lintels.
On the left side of the building, there is a two-story front with two windows, which also features single-pane sashes similar to those on the front facing Princess Road. This building is included for its group value.
