The Plague Stone is a small stone basin located on the north side of Bentham Road in Bentham. It dates from the 17th century and is believed to mark the extent of quarantine during the plague. The basin measures approximately 15 centimeters square and is recessed into the wall. It has a curved shape with a segmental-headed lintel that creates an opening of about 20 centimeters square.
