Description
The building consists of a barn, byre, and gingang located to the east of Crow Wood House, dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick in various bonds, with some stone dressings, and features pantiled roofs with stone ridges. The structure is arranged in an L-plan. The barn is two storeys high and has five bays, with a blocked doorway and a pattern of vent slits. The one-storey stable includes three boarded doors, two of which are stable-type, framed by large long-and-short stone jambs. Behind the barn, the five-sided gingang is supported by four stout sandstone piers. Inside, the barn has a strutted king-post roof, and the gingang retains its main beam. This building is included for its group value.
