Description
Seaton House is a house, probably built in the mid-18th century. It is constructed of large, roughly herringbone-tooled coursed sandstone and features a pantiled roof with stone copings, kneelers, ridge, and chimneys. The building has two storeys and two bays. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door with a small overlight, set within a pilastered doorcase that has a bracketed cornice hood. On either side of the door are three-light sash windows from the late 19th century, which sit under extended lintels with tall keystones. The first floor has similar but lower windows. The high-pitched roof is adorned with copings on prominent kneelers and has stepped and corniced end chimneys.
