Description
Norlands and Milford & Company is a former house, now divided into two offices, built around 1840 and altered in the mid-19th century. The building is constructed of rock-faced stone with stone dressings and features a slate roof. It has three storeys and three bays. The central entrance has plain jambs and a pedimented hood, with the entrance divided into separate doorways by plain central jambs and 20th-century doors. The outer windows on each floor have plain surrounds and sashes with margin-pane glazing. The central window on the first and second floors is wider, featuring two lights and a flat-faced mullion; the first floor has sashes with margin-pane glazing, while the second floor has fixed lights with similar glazing. The building is accented with quoins and shaped modillions at the eaves, and it has gable end ridge stacks.
