2/56 Garden walls, with north gate piers and south gate and gate piers at Norton - Conyers House 22.7.55 II

Walls, gate piers and gate. Late C18. Red brick in English garden wall bond, with ashlar dressings, Wrought iron gates. Wall: approximately 3 metres high with ashlar coping. North wall has blocked flues on the north face at the east end. North gate piers have ashlar band, cornices and ball finials. South gate piers have cornices and ball finials on plinths. South, round-arched gate has plain standards with decorative work at base and lock rail, flanked by more ornate, scrolled ironwork panels. Overthrow above has ornate scrolls and leaf decoration and winged emblem.
