Description

Wath Lodge is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of roughcast sandstone with a Westmorland slate roof. The house is one storey and has three bays. A central door is set within a round-arched, triangular-pedimented porch, featuring five shaped panels and kneelers, with a wings motif in the tympanum. The windows flanking the door are pointed-arch in shape, with a central mullion and leaded lights; the right-hand window has some of its leading replaced with 20th-century panes. The left return side of the house has two small square windows with hood-moulds. The roof is hipped, and there are end chimneys.
