Description

The gates and gate piers at The Rectory date from the 18th century. They are constructed of ashlar stone and feature wrought-iron gates. The gate piers are square in shape and stand approximately 2 metres high, topped with a flat cornice and ball finials. The gates themselves are about 1.75 metres high, designed with spear-headed standards and dogbars.
