The south front has two storeys and two bays. There is a blocked entrance on the left side, and to the right, a 5-light flat-faced mullioned window with 20th-century casements and fixed lights. On the upper floor, there are two 2-light flat-faced mullioned windows with casements, positioned between a datestone that has a scrolled shield in bas relief inscribed with "T I.I". The right-hand ridge stack is present. At the rear, there is a right-hand entrance shared with Lowfields Park, featuring square blocks and a plank door.
Adjoining the cottage is a barn from the 18th century, built of slobbered rubble with stone dressings and a slate roof. The barn has two bays, with a stable entrance on the left and a waggon entrance on the right that has a plain segmental head and keystone. On the upper floor of the barn, there is a keyed pitching eye to the left and a square window to the right, along with a left-hand shaped kneeler.
