Description

The Pinetum Barn at Broughton Hall is a barn built in 1701, as indicated by the datestone. It is constructed of rubble with a stone slate roof. The barn features segmental headed cart entries that are now blocked. The date is marked on the keystone, but the openings are unchamfered, suggesting that some may have been altered. Additionally, there are some breathers designed as quatrefoils.
