Description
The sawmill at Broughton Hall was built in 1816 for Stephen Tempest. It is constructed of rubble and features a stone slate roof. The building has a shallow plan with an open sawpit at the rear and three round arches at the front, which are made with dressed scored voussoirs. The windows have fixed glazing with glazing bars. A datestone on the building reads "ST 1816."
