Description
This barn, located 20 meters west of Treven, likely dates back to the 16th or early 17th century, with significant alterations made in 1708, as indicated by a datestone, and further remodeling in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and features a slate roof with gable ends from 1708. The barn has three doors: the left door has a timber lintel, while the center and right doors are topped with brick segmental arches. Above the central opening is a datestone set in a carved stone panel with a pointed head, featuring a heart and the initials S.D. To the right of this, there is a rectangular opening. On the west elevation, there is a three-light stone window with slightly chamfered segmental arches for each light, and a similar two-light stone window to the right. A blocked door opening is located in the center, and the roof timbers have been replaced.
