Description

The gate piers just to the west of the Spa Baths were built between 1904 and 1905 and are designed to complement the Baths. They are made of moulded terracotta and feature fluted pilasters at the bottom, with diagonally placed buttresses above. These buttresses are arched to support domed finials. The original gates were replaced in 1957.
