Description
This sundial, dated 1826, is located 2 metres south of the Church of St Jude in Hartwith. It is made of gritstone and features a circular base with a vase-shaped baluster that has a splayed foot. The base and neck are adorned with roll mouldings, and there are quarter round mouldings with a fillet at the cap, which includes the incised date. The sundial also has a bronze plate and gnomon.
