Description

This is a sundial located in the churchyard, 10 yards south of the south porch. It was created in 1767 by Whitehurst of Derby. The sundial features a gritstone pillar that is square in plan with tapering sides, standing approximately 5 feet tall. It has a moulded base and cap, along with a broad flat plinth. The sundial remains in its original position on top.
