Description

St Marys Bridge (East) is a bridge built in 1790. It is constructed of coursed squared gritstone and features a single segmental arch. The bridge has canted parapet walls with chamfered copings. On the north wall, there is a foundation stone inscribed with the following: "St Marys Bridge/Built Anno 1790/This Stone Laid 15 March/And/ Finished 15 April."
