Description
This stretch of wall, located on the west side of Low Saint Agnesgate in Ripon, dates from the 18th century or earlier. It is constructed from hammer-dressed limestone. At the junction with Minster Road, the wall stands 4 feet high, but due to the slope of the ground, it reaches a height of 9 feet at its lower end. The wall extends for approximately 100 yards.
